There is something about walking into a bakery and smelling the freshly baked bread. That smell, along with the variety of colors adorning the many cakes and desserts, inundate the senses, and as a result, are the allure of any bakery. The Shilla Bakery, which is located in four – soon to be five – locations: Annandale, Tysons Corner, Centreville, and Ellicott City, is no different.

Shilla Bakery is home to a variety of Korean breads, cakes, desserts, and pastries. Its vision melds traditional Korean concepts with Asian and European influences. Within its quaint and homey storefronts, Shilla Bakery bakes a plethora of breads, cakes, along with a selection of coffee, tea, bubble tea/Boba, bingsoo, ice-cream, and breakfast meals.

History

Shilla Bakery originated in 1999 and has stuck to its roots of blending Korea flavors with innovative new recipes. The bakery prides itself on its rotating menu and fresh treats. The Tysons Corner location opened in 2015.
