All-Electric 2025 Maserati GranCabrio Revealed

• The all-new, all-electric Maserati GranCabrio Folgore will be available late 2024 or early 2025.

If you didn’t know, Maserati is in the process of electrifying their entire vehicle lineup. Starting with the exquisite GranTurismo Folgore, which was released earlier this year, Maserati is now ready to unveil their latest creation: the GranCabrio Folgore. What We Know So Far

Is it as affordable as the Grecale? No. Is it practical, like the Levante? No. Will it have a V8? Also, no. Will it be a mind-altering experience that will deliver the most refined EV driving experience, while simultaneously changing the way you perceive electric vehicle forever?

You bet.

Performance

While most scoff at the idea of electrified performance, Maserati takes up the challenge. Much like the GranTurismo Folgore before it, the electrified GranCabrio Folgore will feature a tri-motor setup. With two motors in the rear, and one in the front, the GranCabrio Folgore will deliver a staggering 818 horsepower and will go from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds. A t-shaped 92.5-kWh battery pack and perfect 50/50 weight distribution also contribute to the GranCabrio Folgore’s performance prowess.

The new Folgore will also come with 4 driving modes, Max-Range, Gt, Sport, and Corsa.

Range

Using the aforementioned 92.5-kWh battery pack, Maserati expects the 2025 GranCabrio Folgore to go about 250 miles before charging. Going from 10% to 80% is expected to be a quick affair, only taking 18 minutes. Stay tuned, as these details may change as release draws near.

Interior & Tech

Sticking to Maserati’s eco-friendly ethos, the GranCabrio Folgore’s interior will come standard in a recycled material called Econyl. For those who prefer their interior traditional, genuine leather will still be available. Expect wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, 12.2-inch Digital Gauge Cluster, 12.3-inch Infotainment, HUD, and an optional 19-speaker Sonus Faber Sound System.
