2022 Maserati Greycale Overview and Comparison

The Maserati Greycale is on the way soon! Take a look at what Maserati’s new SUV could offer as well as a comparison to its main competitor in the BMW X3.
Pricing
Although nothing is official, we can get a rough estimate of the new Maseratis Greycales launch price based on previous Maserati models. With the Stelvio and BMW X3 starting off at around $42,000 – $43,000 it makes sense to say this is the range Maserati is targeting for the Greycale. Similar to other Maseratis, it can be expected that Maserati will also offer a higher performance Trofeo version to separate itself from the base Greycasle. This model could easily be upwards of $100,000 for the premium build and quality.
Engine/Performance
So far one of the few confirmed facts we know about the Greycale is about its engine and performance options. The Maserati Greycale will become available as an all-electric and hybrid option. Meanwhile is major competitor BMW X3 has a 248-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder to power it at a slightly above-average level. With the 0-60 time coming in at a not impressive 6.2 seconds, the Maserati Greycale will be very likely to shatter that time if it’s anything like its counterpart Levante and Ghibli models.
Saftey
Expecting the best safety measures possible for a luxury vehicle like this is common knowledge at this point. The Greaycale will have its fair share of standard and additional optional safety technology features. Some returning features include standard forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. The X3 also has similar safety measures like its lane-departure warning and standard automated emergency braking.
